Celebrate the 2026 cohort of Latina Leaders
Join us for the Chicana Latina Foundation’s (CLF) Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at the South San Francisco Conference Center.
This year's theme centers on what CLF strives to do: create leaders with conciencia. CLF has 900+ alumnae from different levels, colleges, and universities. From community college students earning their AA in Journalism to an undergraduate majoring in public health at UC Berkeley, to a graduate student earning their Master's in Social Work from San Jose State, CLF opens the door to all.
We are also celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Leadership Institute (LI)! The retreat fosters cultural identity and belonging, as well as personal and spiritual growth, by focusing on service leadership, spiritual healing, nature walks & activities, small- and large-group discussions, and presentations led by Latine leaders and alumnae. That first 2006 LI cohort included 21 students. This year, 45 students were part of the LI. CLF has been able to empower and support their educational goals in large part because of you, our community of supporters.
Every year, CLF awardees embark on a journey to unravel their narratives and embrace their authentic selves. We celebrate their commitment to each other, upholding our ancestral culture and fighting for equity and social justice. Together, we'll shape our future. Celebrate with us and DJ Omé, who will have us swaying to our musical rhythms. We will enjoy a delicious dinner while connecting.
