Support Chicanas Latinas in Higher Education

Hi friends and family,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that by 2030, Chicana/Latinas will make up the largest share of California’s workforce and how CLF understands very well that the financial well-being of Latino families and California’s economy depends on Chicana/Latina earning power, I knew I had to help.

That's why I became a fundraiser to support Chicana Latina Foundation's mission. Join me in helping to fundraise for the Chicana Latina Foundation. CLF has helped more than 700+ Chicana Latinas complete their Associates, Transfer to four-year universities, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees. I support CLF because we need this type of organization to advocate for racial justice, diversity, equity, and to shrink the overall racial educational gap. CLF exists for our survival. Let’s make some Ruckus and continue producing leaders considered “dangerous” and “hociconas” for remaining steadfast in seeking social justice and equity.

Many of the CLF Awardees and alumnae are the daughters of essential workers, they are first generation college students, low income, some are undocumented, others are LGBTQ+, and all are involved in the community and have put a stake in the ground committed towards social justice.

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my fundraising campaign for Chicana Latina Foundation. Because of you, we'll be able to invest in CLF. We are dealing with a national racial reckoning that has shaken our moral ground and consciousness. CLF is “making good trouble,” as CLF continues to resist social injustice, to persist in the education of Chicanas Latinas, and to cultivate the next generation of conscious leaders when we most need them.

CLF continues to make a ruckus, as Yolanda Lopez, our iconic artist would say, in demanding social justice, racial and gender equity, persisting in the education of Chicanas Latinas, and in cultivating the next generation of conscientious leaders. Chicana Latina college students continue to persist!. You're not only helping me to reach my fundraising goal, but you're making a real difference for Chicana Latina college students.

This is such a worthy cause and I'm proud that we're on the same team.
